DMCA / Copyright Infringement Policy

Last Updated: June 22, 2026

KrutiDev-to-Unicode.com (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of this site to do the same. This page explains how copyright owners can report content they believe infringes their rights, and how we respond to such reports.

This policy applies to all content on this website, including our blog articles, keyboard layout guides, typing test materials, and downloadable font files (such as KrutiDev 010 and Mangal) made available through our Font Download section.

A Note on Font Files

Many of the font files referenced or made available on this site including KrutiDev and Mangal are widely distributed as freeware within the Hindi typing and government-exam community. We make a good-faith effort to only host or link to font files that are freely distributable. If you are a font designer, foundry, or rights holder and believe a font file on this site is being distributed without proper authorization, please use the notice process below we take these reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

1. Our Commitment to Original Content

All articles, guides, comparison tables, and tool descriptions published on KrutiDev-to-Unicode.com are written and produced by us. We do not copy, scrape, or republish content from other websites. Where we reference factual information such as the history of the KrutiDev font or general Unicode standards it is rewritten in our own words rather than reproduced from any other source. If you believe any content on this site closely mirrors your original work, please contact us using the process below so we can review it.

2. Filing a Copyright Infringement Notice

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are involved)
  3. Identification of the specific material you claim is infringing, including the exact URL on krutidev-to-unicode.com where it appears, with enough detail for us to locate it
  4. Your contact information — name, mailing address, phone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on their behalf

3. Where to Send Your Notice

Please send DMCA takedown notices to:

Email: [[email protected]] Subject line: DMCA Takedown Request

Incomplete notices particularly those missing a specific URL or a good-faith/perjury statement may delay our response while we request the missing information.

4. Our Response Process

Upon receiving a valid notice, we will:

  • Review the reported material
  • Remove or disable access to the material we determine, in good faith, to be infringing
  • Notify the user who posted or submitted the material, where applicable
  • Keep a record of the notice and our response

We aim to act on valid, complete notices within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 5–10 business days.

5. Counter-Notification

If you believe material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the email above. Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the relevant jurisdiction, an appropriate alternative), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material unless the original complainant informs us that they have filed a legal action seeking a court order to restrain the alleged infringement.

6. Repeat Infringers

We reserve the right to remove content and, where applicable, restrict or terminate access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers of others’ intellectual property rights.

7. False Claims

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be liable for damages. Only submit a notice if you genuinely and in good faith believe your rights are being infringed.
